  • Bolsa Palace

    Palácio da Bolsa, headquarters and property of Associação Comercial do Porto, is a neoclassical style building, whose construction started on the 6th October 1842, the day where the first stone was put to place, due to the closure of the stock exchange that obliged the Porto traders to discuss their business on open air.

  • Clerigos Tower

    The Tower of the Clerics is undeniably the ex-libris of the city, and an excellent viewpoint.

    In the year 1753, at the request of the Brotherhood of Clerics, the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni presented the project for a bell tower, and in 1754 they would start the works of what would become the most beautiful Tower, dominating the entire urban landscape of Porto. In July 1763, with the placing of the iron cross on the top, and the image of St. Paul in the niche above the door, its construction was finished.

    The baroque characteristics that define it are the maximum expression of the baroque spectacular, where the typical motifs of this style give the tower movement and beauty.

    At more than 75m high, after climbing 225 steps and reaching the top of the tower, the view over the city is absolutely stunning. From a 360° perspective, visitors can enjoy a unique moment, whether day or night, when in special times.

  • Liberdade Square

    Liberdade Square (Liberty or Freedom Square and  Praça da Liberdade in Portuguese), it is an icon square in the city. Located in the lower town (Baixa) area. The square is continuous on its north side with the Avenida dos Aliados, an important avenue of the city.

  • Sao Bento Station

    Is a 20th-century I the Railway terminal Station in the. The English translation of São Bento is Saint Benedict. The station is located in the Historic Centre of Porto, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and as a National Monument of Portugal. There are approximately 20,000 azulejo tiles, dating from 1905–1916, that were composed by Jorge Colaço, an important painter of azulejo.To the left of the entrance is a scene depicting the Battle of Arcos de Valdevez and Egas Moniz before Alfonso VII of Castile, while to the right, is D. João I in Oporto, with his fiancé, and the Conquest of Ceuta. On the border wall at the entrance are small panels depicting countryside scenes. The tile project required 11 years to complete.

    The Porto Cathedral ( Sé do Porto in Portuguese) is a Roman Catholic church from 12th century located in the historical centre of the city. It is one of the city's oldest monuments and one of the most important local Romanesque monuments. Nice ViewPoint over city and river banks.

  • Luis I Bridge

    The Dom Luís I Bridge (Ponte de Dom Luís I in Portuguese), or Luís I Bridge, is a double-deck iron arch bridge that spans the Douro River between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia  At its construction, its 172 metres (564 ft) span was the longest of its type  in the world. It has been confused with the nearby Maria Pia Bridge a railway bridge that was built 9 years earlier (and is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) to the east), which is similar in aspect to the Luís I bridge.This Bridge was project by Theophile Seyrig from Gustav Eiffel Academy.

  • Cristal Palace - Gardens & Arena

    The Crystal Palace (O Palácio de Cristal) was inspired by The Crystal Palace in London. It was inaugurated in 1865 to host the 1865 International Exhibition. Eventually falling into disrepair, it was demolished in 1951 to make way for a Sports Pavilion, today known as the SuperBock Arenaand Rota Mota Pavilion, named after the Portuguese marathon runner.

    The Crystal Palace gardens, which cover about 8 hectares and have views over the River Douro, were landscaped when the Crystal Palace was built and include rhododendrons, camellias, araucarias, ginkgoes, and beech trees, in addition to fountains and statues. There are also several themed gardens including the Garden of Feelings, the Garden of Aromatic Plants, and a Rose Garden. The gardens also contain a chapel devoted to the King of Sardinia, who died while exiled in Porto in 1849. This small temple predates the Crystal Palace, having been erected by the late King's sister in 1854. A museum, in the 19th-century Quinta da Macieirinha, provides an insight into the lifestyle and culture of the late 1800s. It was occupied by the King of Sardinia during his brief exile
